Second month of our Top 10 productivity apps to use iPad at work in the US app store.
No big changes in the top 5 paid apps, with almost no changes.
From 5 to 10, NotePlus disappeared, while Noteshelf gained 2 ranks.
Note the appearance of Remarks, a new note taking app that helps you annotate PDF.
Note Taker HD is now 10, which makes 50% of paid apps a note taking application.
Regarding the free apps, huge position for the launch of Microsoft OneNote, which was 8th last month and is now second in the TOP10, Evernote dropping from 3rd place to the 5th. Is this the beginning of a battle for the free note apps ?
In this new Top 10 productivity apps, there 10 apps for Note Taking and 1 for To-Do management.
Quite a busy market !
Interesting, the positioning of OmniFocus, which is 46th in the paid ranking but is 10th in the revenue ranking. Omnifocus is sold at 15.99€. Quite an interesting story regarding how to price an app. Looks like the 15€ range is still acceptable for a business app.
Stay tuned for the next TOP 10.
